Like most photographers of a certain age, I began learning about photography by taking black and white images on film and processing them in the darkroom. When I made the move to digital (almost thirteen years ago), for whatever reason, I left black and white behind. I’m gradually bringing the black and white medium back into my portfolio! It really is the best at showing form and texture. And, images of mist and fog also really do well with this treatment!
